While a mother forcing her children to do something for a stupid reason is bad its not at all uncommon or and this is not a particularly atrocious abuse of parental powers (say, compared to the hours and hours of religious bullshit many have to put up with). For me, the main reason to hate these dipshits is that they give evangelicals etc. something to point to when they talk about"hollywood elites"and how we're living in a modern day Sodom and Gommorah.
